Padel, originating from a blend of enclosed Tennis and Platform Tennis known as Padel-Tennis or Paddle, was innovatively conceived by Enrique Corcuera in Acapulco, Mexico, in 1969. Quickly embraced by Alfonso of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, who introduced modifications for added competitiveness, Padel saw its first courts in Marbella, Spain, in 1974. Since then, from its slow expansion in Spain to becoming a global sensation, Padel has emerged as one of the fastest-growing sports worldwide, captivating players across continents with its accessibility, social appeal, and physical benefits.

Steven originally learned to play and found his passion for racquetball while on active duty, stationed in San Diego. He saw a Marine with an amputated leg walking up the stairs away from the gym and the Calling came to him – “Go teach that Marine how to play racquetball…” and the rest is history! Now Steven has become a master in Padel, Pickleball and many other sports. Continuing to add adaptive paddle sports to help veterans and wounded warriors deal with their related PTSD symptoms, and other illnesses as a form of healing.
